Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Sovelle Bridal is a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from sovellebridal.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

If you have a question about anything here, email hello@sovellebridal.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number if you provide one. When you email us, we keep that correspondence. When you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address.

Payment information. We do not see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and, where you choose them, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Those processors handle your card details directly under their own privacy policies. We receive only the last four digits, the card brand, and whether the payment succeeded.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we receive your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the time you spend on them. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described in section 5.

2. Why we use it

  • To take, make, and ship your order, and to send order and shipping confirmations.
  • To answer your emails and handle returns, exchanges, and cancellations.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and chargebacks.
  • To send marketing email, if and only if you have opted in.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it with the service providers we need in order to run the store:

Provider What they do What they receive
Shopify Inc. Hosts our store, processes orders and payments Order, contact, and browsing data
Shopify Payments / PayPal / Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay Process payments Payment and billing details
USPS and UPS Deliver your order Name, shipping address, phone if provided
Cloudflare, Inc. Routes email sent to our address The contents of emails you send us
Our email service provider Sends order notifications and marketing email Email address, name, order history
Our web analytics provider Aggregate site analytics Pseudonymous usage data

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to — in response to a lawful subpoena, warrant, or court order — or to protect our rights. If our business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction; we would notify you by email before that happened.

4. Email marketing

We send marketing email only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom and it works immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email about an order you have placed — we will still send you order and shipping confirmations.

5. Cookies

Our store uses cookies. Some are strictly necessary: they keep your cart, keep you signed in, and secure checkout. The store does not work without them. Others are analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages people visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, checkout will not work. If you are in a region where consent is required, you will see a consent banner and your choice is respected.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes, which in the United States is generally seven years. Email marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for two years unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

7. Your rights

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request that we delete it, to request that we correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR), you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we process your data on the basis of consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sovellebridal.com from the address associated with your order. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Our store runs over HTTPS and payment data is handled by PCI-compliant processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we collect and who can access it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
